A Day with the Police
Today we would like to give a big thank you to Detective Finn, from Yorktown Heights Police Department for visiting our Pre-k 3 class! Our students were so excited to share some time with him, learning about the work he does serving and protecting the community!
Detective Finn taught us the emergency phone number 911 and he emphasized that it can only be used during real emergencies. We also had the opportunity to check out his police car and he let us press the buttons that turn the different sirens on. The children were extremely excited to be able to meet a real policeman.
